Our range of parquet flooring includes 70x230mm, 70x280mm and 70x350mm oak blocks with 20mm thickness. All our parquet blocks come with tongue & groove fitting, located at a lower position, for a deeper sandable real oak layer and longer life span.

Each pack (approx. 1 sqm) contains an equal number of left & right tongue & grooved parquet blocks - ideal for fitting parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern. All our sizes allow fitting square patterns as well.

Our parquet flooring products come in Prime, Natural and Rustic grades, for all tastes. Please see our grading description with each product or speak to a member of staff for more information on timber grading.

Reclaimed or New Parquet Blocks?

Parquet blocks are timber products and as such are sensitive to moisture. Storage of flooring should be done in purpose-built warehouses, not in garages, sheds, gardens, lofts or other places where people in Londonderry would normally store things they do not need any more.

This fact from life is a typical example of how thousands of pounds can be wasted in the installation of reclaimed blocks, which will buckle or crack weeks after the installation.

Our Timber Grading System

Grading is an important bit of information about the wooden flooring you intend to buy. It defines the appearance of your floors and the price. We use the standard UK timber grading system.

• Rustic Grade Parquet Blocks - rich, vivid character allowing random size and form of knots and colour variation between the blocks;
• Natural Grade Parquet Blocks - more calm, natural feeling of the timber, allowing limited sized knots of up to 5 mm and almost no colour variation between the blocks;
• Prime Grade Parquet Blocks - clean oak timber without colour variation between the blocks; knots of 1 mm may appear randomly on 1 of 5 blocks.

We went a bit further by offering parquet flooring together with all necessary finishing and fitting products - we do parquet floor adhesives, wood floor varnish from Bona and Junckers and floor oils. We do oak thresholds and edgings and mouldings, beading in oak and MDF, skirting boards and more.

Parquet Blocks Availability

We keep our oak blocks in stock for immediate dispatch to Londonderry at all times. But sometimes we may run out of a certain grade or size. Re-stocking of products would normally take about 2 weeks and a member of staff will be able to advise on our next availability.
