Oak is a timeless species used for centuries. It has an attractive medium brown colour and is known for its superior hardness and durability. The robust grain makes it an all-time favourite.
Oak is extremely tough, durable and forgiving, making the wood exceptionally well suited to flooring. The structure is distinct in golden nuances and ages gracefully to a deeper glow. Oak grows across most of Europe.
Variation grade is the unique name that Junckers have given to their rustic grade products. This grade has a rustic look with substantial colour and structural graining variation between the individual planks. Several small and large knots and fine hairline splits occur. Sapwood occurs to a great extent.
Underfloor heating works to perfection under Junckers solid hardwood floors because, unlike tiles and stones, solid wood is naturally warm and pleasant, whether or not the heating is on.
